What are these people watching in a busy public market?

Some places can provide entertainment through watching on TV such as malls, waiting areas, etc. In our city, some local people watch their favorite TV programs in a public market. It was new for some and others might have similar situations. "Would you like to watch with them?" "Do you have any situations like this in your country?" Image Credit: Shavkat

No I don't recall any of that here around my place. There are very few markets and maybe only small. So maybe some of these people had not seen tv? I would be more interested in smelling and looking at sights of food.

When I was a child, I remember that some grandparents' neighbors flocked into the house. They tend to watch in oeon windows. I find it weird. It happens because only a few people have a black and white TV in residents.

I do agree on that. There will be a lot of people if they are watching Pacman is fighting against his opponent in boxing.

This is something that I have not experienced before by standing and watching commercial or TV program in the open market. Something that I can't not done with.

@Shavkat I don't like standing and watching TV with them . I think it is good for those people who work away from their home for long time .

Its a nice idea and really I would not have the time to watch a Television if I was shopping. However if I had nothing much to do I would probably watch a little bit of it yes.

It's men that usually do this watching TV outdoor. Yu cannot find like this abroad. This one is only in the Philippines. People in America, Australia, NZ, Switzerland, never have like this. We cannot see people outside and even do not see homeowners inside their homes.Only in Philippines, lots if fun lols, . This implies that many are lazy in our country and they usually blame their poorness to the government. They just like make babies

No. I never had this situation where I can watch T.V in public places. The T.Vs will be there at some places but they will not be working as usual with India. People generally not so developed even to maintain them once they are placed in such places.

Yes, it is so common in markets because people do not want to miss a show; or when some local famous boxing idols have a match they did not want to miss; or even basketball games!
