D you ever wonder about what is going on with those who became your friends on a site that no longer exists? While on Bubblews I made a few close friends whose email addresses I would have taken had I been around when the site crashed.
I was absent for two months before its closure, because having recently moved from the city to the country, my internet connection was giving lots of problems. Now, I wish I knew how those friends are doing.
Others who I interacted with quite a lot at Bubblews include: @WhiteFeather, @Joyousli, @LateBloomer, @Cintol, @Jin, @dais, @DarkAgeProphet, @PaulaKent, @ HotSauceTexasPete - and a host of others. Do you ever wonder about those you came to know on a former site?

My first experience on line was a group called Gather. My niece told me I would like it and she worked in Boston for the website so I joined. It was active for quite a while and I made some life long friends even if I never met them face to face. When the site was closing they did it with style, we all got our money and it became a Facebook Group so i can still keep in touch with those who are on the Group. I wasn't on Bubbles long but do remember some who were there.

Same here. Here at myLot there were so many I used to interact with but when the earlier myLot stopped paying most were not to be seen and they have not returned.

Fortunately most of my friends who were over there migrated here. Some were already here and some drifted over a bit later. It was wonderful to meet up with them again. Surprising how easy it is to lose something that is dear to you at a flick of a switch! There are a couple I have never seen again which is a shame!

@garymarsh6 I was on bubblews for years but under a different name. I was nadelma over there. I started with that since webanswers but when I came here I changed it.

I know most people on myLot as this is where I stayed. I never went to Bubblews just reading is all mostly.
Yes one wonders where others are on other sites I suppose.
I hope you can find them in this discussion perhaps Kandase.

@Kandae11 You sound like me. I have enough with just this one and my daily life. I am a blonde and get confused very easily, just ask @DaddyEvil. He know me from webanswers and then Bubblews. A long time.

Most of the people I got close to there are now here. There's one gal that took forever to come here but she finally did only to leave shortly after. I don't think this was her cup of tea. Some of the other ones I knew from a previous place and although I'm no longer active there I do know how to find them if I choose.

I became quite close to few in sites we were together.
In fact, when we found each other at another site the warm feelings were palpable.
I started with Associated Content, then Yahoo Contributor Network and later Wikinut.
Only the latter is still active but stopped payments.
Few are here though and occasionally we reminisce those times.
I was not in Bubblews though.

The email that Yahoo Contributor Network was shutting down came like a bolt from the blue even for the likes of me who were not active. Then what about those who had put in their heart and soul into their posts and built up the community over the years?

Yes I wonder too where are they now. I had a lot of friends in bubblews and hope that they're here too, it will surely be fun, won't it?
