Me Time

Singapore

In our busy life one must always find time for himself or herself to be alone and to be in tune with one self for relaxation, rest, recreation and rejuvenation... Do you have a me time everyday to restore your energy? What do you do in your me time to reduce stress?

Me time happens all the time with me. I live alone and I'm retired.

@magnumopus Thanks. I've been living alone for almost a year now and I love it. I don't need to worry about anybody else's schedule.

Yes I do but I need even more. Without the quiet time in the mornings for me, I get very frustrated.

@TiarasOceanView Why is it that time is always elusive for this kind of thing?

I have a short period of me time every day after work between when I arrive home and when my wife gets home. I often take this time to write, which I find is a great stress reliever.

@DWDavis You are right since writing could be a cure and outlet for stress.

I have plenty of "me" time. I play piano, read, work on my computer and walk and garden. I am retired.

My only me time is when I go to bed. I should definitely change that.

No selfishness at all. Without love to myself I cannot give love to anyone

I usually listen to or play music, walk with my dog, go for a surf or a ride on the bike. I like to escape to my own little world where nothing else matters other than what I'm doing at the time.
