This week the French Open started at the 'Stade Roland Garros' Tennis Stadium, which is one of the grand slams on the tennis circuit.
I am sitting watching some newbies (well they are to me) and listening to the commentators give their opinions on some of the youngsters and what lies ahead in each ones career. The fact that Nadal is back in shape, Federrer is taking a break and Djokovic is off form leaves the Winning circle wide open for anyone that can stand the pace and taste the blood of winning.
I am not a fan of Murray so I really dont care how he plays as I shall be rooting for the opponent anyway.
Paris is a buzz and I wish that I could be there for just one afternoon, sitting somewhere on a grassy park listening to the vibe in the streets and all the visitors. It is one of the most beautiful places to be in during the summer and with a touch of Tennis - it would be perfect.
Do you watch the Tennis?
If Judy gets to read this - have a safe journey to the Island of Green.
Have a splendid 30th May everyone. Tomorrow May will be gone for 2017 - and we are heading to half way of 2017.
"Bon tennis
toutes les personnes"
au revoir
My photo is of a day walking in Paris - looking at strangers as they looked back at me!

Bonjour! Tennis time is what I love about this part of our winter. Curling up on the sofa and giving the players my advice! Greetings Lany!

@Inlemay Thought I would drop in on mylot again and found that some of the old bloggers are still at it. Diana decided to start up again so I said I would tag along as well. Not that I will be sitting here 24/7 mind you but will writing, reading, liking and commenting now and then. Great to see you again!

I used to follow the French open on TV, but I have not watch TV at all in the past 2 weeks. I never went to Roland Garros during the open. It is very expensive and a bit snobbish. I chatted with a friend yesterday who was there on Sunday. She wanted to eat there but she told me that she quite had a heart attack when she saw the prices this year : a small bottle of water, 7 Euros ; 4 strawberries in a saucer, 6 Euros...
You are right, May is a good month to visit Paris, and it has been very sunny this year.
