What ever became of my money tree? When it came time to have one planted in my back yard I must have been out paying bills. The bills seem to be piling up more rapidly than the money comes in. What to do, what to do? There is so much month left at the end of the money. Every time we get what we think is the last bill paid another one shows up. When will it end?

The cost of goods and services keep getting higher - but not salaries.

You are absolutely right. Plus, when retired you are on a limited budget.

We need to win the lottery. I guess the first step would be to purchase a ticket. There we go spending money again.

There was a great line in a song I love ("Saturday Morning Confusion" by Bobby Russell) that said, "I'll take the whole neighborhood to the show, I'll just walk out in back where the money tree grows, grab me a handful, and off to the show we'll go." Bills come more frequently than paychecks, so bills need to figure out how to be less frequent or paychecks need to come around more often!

Luckily without cable and water bill we aren't as burdened as others.

This seems to be the case with a lot of us. There are more things and bills to pay than there is money. It is crazy, but such is life. There is always something that needs to be paid.

Isn't that the truth. You just finish paying one and the next one is due.

Bills seem to auto duplicate while we do not watch. I would love to have a money tree, not to be rich, but to be able to pick up money when I need.

I don't need to be rich I just want the comfort of knowing there is extra money there when I need it.

Don't you wish it just grows bigger and bigger? I wonder what magic fertilizer we could use to make it grow like that.
