Bridge Over Troubled Water

Another panorama of the pristine nature of our province during the joy ride we had in the upland places.
The river below have rough rushing water because of every afternoon raining. The wild river is one of the color of the beautiful nature we have.
The cemented bridge is the safe sanctuary of the residents. Two years ago life is the hardest because they need to brave to cross the rushing water. That life changed when the bridge was built and the muddy and dangerous road was cemented.
The way of life might have change but not the wild river? Such a nostalgia just like when I was still a kid when me and my peers are swimming in the rural river.
Have tou had nice memory of your childhood in the river.

We had a farm before. We used to cross the river to reach our farm. It was fun riding a canoe and watching the waters, trees, and houses that came on the view while my parents were paddling.

@ilocosboy Yes, I hope that people will not live near bodies of water so it won't get dirty.

Such a nice environment we have during our childhood. Playing and swimming in the river when we don't rhink of bacteria and diseases from the dirty and full of garbage river.

@Nitinsharma this place is the town of Quirino, one of the remotest town in our province. You need to cross the high mountain which we call skyline before getting there.
This year, its all weather road now because it's cemented already.

@Nawsheen this is the beauty of still living in the country side. The nature's beauty is not yet corrupted and the everything seems to be connected to earth.

Yes I do remember a time when we always swam in rivers both here and in my Mothers country.
That is a good bridge.

It's unsafe to swim in the river these days especially in my country. So different when we were kids. Its just hard to think that goes with the progress and modernized living is the wrong transformation of the rivers.

That is good. The bridge made transportation easier for the people there.
As of me, yes we have nice memories of the river. Our father would always bring me and my siblings to the river, where he and his friends will catch fishes then grill them then swim with us. Such happy memories of that river.

At least the people there are more comfortable traveling now! It looks like a beautiful river! Yes, I also have some memories of bathing in the river when we were children; but during those days it was clean; now it is polluted! And so dangerous for children to be playing on their own because of these dangerous times!

Not yet in this river that is still unpolluted and no single plastic can be seen. Very clean and only the moss and the leaves and twigs are flowing here.
This is one of the good thing being in the rural villages because the surrounding so vibrant and undisturbed. So different in the city river which is full of garbage and dirty.
