My Favorite Snack-Cheddar Popcorn

Do you snack on something while working on the computer? I try not to, but when I do I reach for a bag of Cheddar Popcorn. It’s not the healthiest snack in the world. It has a fairly high salt content. I should cut it out completely but for now I limit it to one small bowl a day.
What do you snack on when on the computer or watching TV?

That stuff is awesome Betty! I used to love that but I hardly get it now.
The most I get now for us here is cheap potato chips or that trail mix I like from the natural store.

@BettyB I started liking it one evening, actually it was quite late, we were out with another couple and had gone back to their place for a quick little night cap and they took them out. Once I got started on them, it wasn't such a quick little night cap, I had to tear myself away from them, we all love salt, and I'm no different, but it doesn't love me.

I don't watch any tv, if anything I may watch a movie once in a while.
I snack on just about anything while on the computer; ice cream, tortilla chips, food bars and right now I'm finishing several pieces of celery and dip. I'm trying to either quit snacking altogether or snack earlier in the day as I gained a bit of weight while off work and would like to work on getting it back off again. Snacking on anything won't help that idea much.

@BettyB Good luck. It's hard to cut back when we're used to eating at the computer or while watching tv or movies. In fact, I really want to pop some popcorn right about now and while that may be less calories than other snacks I'd eat the whole bag, so not sure how good that would be for me.

@MarshaMusselman Once I get started on it, I can't leave it alone. None so far today, but I don't know how long I can hold out.

Sounds good. I usually don't snack. I do eat my meals though in front of my computer and TV. If I do snack, it's candy bars - my downfall. So I try very hard to stay away from them. I haven't had one now in a long time. I do have a new bad habit though, brought on by my sister-in-law. They gave me a cute leaf shaped bowl of Werther's caramels. Now I have the hard candy sitting near my chair in the living room. I'm doing my best to limit my intake of those. I did read the back that said there are 70 calories per serving - three. I try to eat only one a day.

@BettyB Yes it would. I'm proud of myself, I didn't have any yesterday. There was only one left in the dish and I didn't want to empty the dish Though the bag was sitting right there so I could refill the dish. That would mean I would need to replenish my supply of Werther's again. So I left the one candy in the dish.

The snack you showed in the picture looks good. I don't usually snack when I am working on the computer, as I am always typing. But sometimes my husband will have some potato chips, then I'll take some too. I might have ice cream or some biscuits while I am hungry. If not, then I'd prefer to just concentrate on reading and typing.
I am also trying to cut out those unhealthy snacks completely..... well, I'll do that step by step. We have cut down quite a lot now.

I haven't tried that but I hear popcorn is good for snacking since it's a lighter alternative
I don't snack as much anymore

Grapes are good, but my doctor said they have too much sugar in them. I shouldn't be eating the popcorn either.

Yum that Smartfood white cheddar is one of my favorites and I could eat a whole bag. Along with that usually my snacks are pretzels and at night I love a dish of ice cream.

I haven't bought any ice cream in a while. Once its in the house I can't leave it alone. It was the go to snack when I was a kid. My parents loved ice cream so it was always in the house.

The drink is essential. I try to stick with water, but sometimes I'll sneak in a soda.
