My six year old son came home from school a few weeks ago with a sunflower he'd grown from seed. A great idea but unfortunately the tallish seedling didn't make it home in one piece, he was so disappointed that we decided we'd grow something else here at home. We decided on Dwarf French Green Beans and they're going surprisingly well (especially considering I'm totally not green fingered myself!) - we planted 15 seeds and all 15 have now grown into little plants so I'm hoping for a nice crop of beans in a couple of months. What are you growing at the moment?
