The Bible says Jesus forgives us of our sins, but how can he forgive a person for killing him or herself if that person cannot ask for forgiveness?

I think He forgive that "sin" anyways. No matter what we do He always forgive us.

@MsBooklover I don't think so, for example, what happen with people that make something bad (murder) I guess God forgive them even tho what they did. Other thing, all the bad things people do in this life, will knock their doors one day

@skydream Absolutely, you're right. They don't even have the chance or maybe they don't even care, and He forgive them anyways. I think we all sometimes believe that we are doing the correct thing so we get blind and don't even think about forgiveness

@MsBooklover but think of a child what if they die before they have time to grow up and mature to ask.for forgiveness shouldn't they still be in heaven?

@chrissbergstrom From what I remember learning as a child, I believe there is an age of accountability, and it is based on whether or not that child has reached knowing what he or she is accountable for. That would be different for each child. That is what I learned. Yet, I am not a scholar. Thus, I don't know a lot of background information about it. I often think, too, about people who are mentally ill or mentally disabled.

I know the Bible says if we ask Him to be our Savior and forgive us, He will.

Many people ask for forgiveness before they do it, or in the note they leave.

It's kind of like telling Him...I am going to sin and when I am done, I want you to forgive me. I am not sure how he feels about that.

I am not sure but according to my religion, the soul is unforgiven when killed oneself.

@MsBooklover I agree with her. In our own belief, the soul cannot go to heaven.

That is what my friend said in high school, but she put it as such that it is because you cannot come back and ask for forgiveness.
