I am showing you what I bought, as it is listed on e bay.
Vintage Corona Stainless Pastry Nut Chopper Red Bakelite Handle
$14.99
Buy It Now
I paid fifty cents. I bought it because it felt good in my hand. I was not sure exactly what it was, so I guessed, and searched for the name brand Corona Stainless.
I like good tools and this one felt solid, and it was pretty red, and shiny stainless steel. I read that I can chop nuts, and possibly veggies with it. I thought it was to blend dough.
So I feel good about my valuable purchase.

The ladies at the counter had never seen one. Now that I researched it, thanks to hubby being able to read the small print, I feel very well informed and like a champion bargain hunter as well.

Excellent bargain Heather. I would have bought it to display with the rest of my unique gadgets.

@GardenGerty If it is usable why not put it to good use. Some of the older tools work better than the new and improved ones.

@ElusiveButterfly It is stainless and has no marks on it and the handle is firmly attached, it will be good to use.

I did search. You hold the red part in your hand and use the blades to chop up vegetables and nuts.

I think ebay is over priced like amazon's prime stuff.

Some people pay big bucks for vintage. You cannot blame the e bay seller for hoping. I would not pay that, but I was happy with fifty cents. I finally got a picture up, too.

@GardenGerty That is good I am glad to see it. And like you I would pay cheaper for that too. A good buy on your end for sure.

@ShaylovesKay People can get away with high prices when other people are willing to pay them.

I have not tried it yet, but my plan would be to put them in a wooden or ceramic bowl so they would not scatter. I could imagine the mess.

@GardenGerty I use a wooden bowl, because the ceramic can break, but some pieces scatter anyway.

I do not often buy old kitchen tools, but family members give them to me. I liked the feel of it, and now I love the price as well.

@GardenGerty Cooking more is a good thing. You're kicking the fast food and restaurant habit.
