Good afternoon.I was reading in one of the magazine about some people having poor posture. This is what I try to careful of.As some people get older and slouching. That I did not want to be and alway try to take of care mind. But I did not know this:/while your sleeping .To promote proper alignment you want to sleep on your back. The worst for posture is side sleeping. this I did not know. I do both.Mostly sleep on my back.Plus I have a pillow under my knee. This I know as it take the pressure of your back.I still do this. photo is public Something to think about.

It is important to stand tall and straight..I think tho it would take a tremendous amount of slouching to get like in the photo. Like on a constant basis. I hope I don't get a hunchback when I get way older. Sometimes they just happen.

Back sleeping is not good for me, I keep a side position that is considered by doctors good for preventing neck and back pain, reducing acid reflux. Sleeping on left side is ideal for blood flow. Those are the same advantages of back sleeping.

@amadeo What I avoid is to sleep on my tummy, this is not good.

I toss and turn a lot in bed. I'm on my back some of the time, on my side others. The pillow under the knees really does make a difference.

I have always slouched, its far to change to undo it now. Sleeping on my stomach or side are the only options, I never sleep on my back due to post nasal drip.

A lot of people that work at computers don't realize they are slouching either @amadeo . It is helpful at break and lunch times for them to do some minor exorcises.
