My fiancés natural remedy when he's sick is going to the beach! Strange right? He's been coughing for the past few days and he's taking medicine but wanted to get some fresh air and cough it all out. I packed a duffle bag with towels, beach blanket, water and we hung out out the beach for a hour. It was very relaxing! He ran a little, coughed everything out and feels much better!
Do you have any strange remedies that works for you?

I'm sure going to the beach cures a lot of things! Going to the mountains is the best we can do here.

It was gloomy out so we only stayed for a hour. But I did splash in the water.

I have always known the sea air to be a cure and I am so happy it works for your fiance.
Well it is the sea air for me too! I am sorry to be so far inland.
Nothing unusual remedies except going outside for fresh air when I am sick. The air is very good here near the mountains.

Darn!
Well if you're far from the sea, hopefully you don't get sick then! Hehehe. But yes I like to get fresh air when I am sick too.

@infatuatedbby No. That's what some people here do but I think it's effective, especially for the colds. The sea water acts like the saline solution you spray inside your nostrils when you have rhinitis :)

I'm thinking he has allergies now.
But the fresh air was nice :) And since we don't live far from the beach, why not cherish it!

Not so strange. Feels good to soak up some sun. My daughter's father used to go to bed with a nice wool blanket and sweat out any virus or sickness that he had. The next morning he was fine.

Fresh sea air can be revitalising - some Spa towns, miles from the sea, offer "sea air" by allowing salt Water to tricking down over branches, quite refreshing:
Salt was produced in Bad Kissingen for more than 1 000 years. In 1562, the predecessors of the ‘Gradierwerk’ (Graduation Tower) built here were the first in Europe. As parts of the salt production plants, their purpose was to allow water to evaporate, simi

I think it is a good idea. Relaxing and having a good mood do help to get well soon. In the past I had bad cough for some time and one day I suddenly felt like eating ice cream. So I had one on my way home. It was very strange that it was very helpful to get rid of my cough.
