When was the last time you read a real newspaper?

I did something yesterday that I used to do everyday, but haven't for quite sometime. I read a real print newspaper. It was just our small local paper. I do sometimes read some of the headlines of the Wash Post on Kindle, and may even subscribe again, but not sure. My friend brings me parts of the Post when he comes to visit. Actually, I think I am going to start buying the paper on a regular weekly r basis here, as long as it has a coupon section, as there were plenty of good coupons in it. I think it might only be a once in a month thing though..I am not sure. When did you last read the paper?

Last Friday, while I was waiting for my husband who was talking with his doctor. I grabbed the newspaper that was on the waiting room table and went through it.

Yeah, I see them sometimes at the library, but I don't read them too often because they are usually a bit old.

This is a good question. I haven't read a newspaper for quite a long time. I can't even remember when I read it last time. At least several years ago.

The coupon section in the local paper here was pretty awesome, but like I said, it may only come out once per month. I am going to have to check.

It's been a long time. I've read historical newspapers, but even that's difficult to do anymore because most of them are microfilmed. But today's news from a "print" newspaper, complete with getting the ink on your fingers? I'd say it's been at least 20 years.

Wow! Now that is a long time. I subscribed to some papers when I first moved down here and still have the box, but I cancelled the subscription long ago.

Last Sunday, as I get the Los Angeles Times Sunday edition because the price was so cheap. 38 cents a week. I do read papers at the library to get local sports info you can't get online.

You are right, the price of the print editions are now really pretty cheap. The only thing with the Kindle edition. They offer you one price, and when you go to subscribe they change it!

Some newspapers don't even give you coupons unless you are a subscriber.

There are printed newspapers in our university's library. I barely touched them, though. Haha. Last time must have been when I was a kid, I was really bored in my mother's office so I took a newspaper which showed a newly disbanded rock band.

@snowy22315 And some of their scientific journals are at least two years old. Even their textbooks are decades old; they're even older than I am!

Yesterday. I am going through a stack of newspapers from as far back as 2012/2013 to cut out events that the Foundation has done or supported.

My sister has a lot of newspapers. She doesn't have time to read them, but if she is on a trip and isn't driving she will read them.

I was forced to subscribe to newspapers when I was in primary and secondary school for educational purposes. But that time, mobile app and internet wasn't as convenient. Now, I may pick up free copies of local newspapers at train and bus stations or in school. I won't spend money to buy or subscribe to newspapers when I can get free content through mobile apps and social media.

The only problem is that some newspapers only allow you to get coupons if you are a regular subscriber.

Newspaper
Hi, I think the last time I read a newspaper was two months ago. Just the Sunday paper with coupons and job section. Besides the news is usually more on the internet. I do like your idea though about getting a paper again. I think I will get the Sunday only paper. Have a good week.
