Alternatives to pop (soda)

I am addicted to pop (soda) coca cola, pepsi etc. My father in law lost a lot of weight just by not drinking it as much. I want to do the same but I am finding it to be really hard to do. Does anyone have any other alternatives (besides water, I drink that also) I would love to hear what everyone else drinks. (Besides alcohol) lol

How about cold tea and add Splenda or sugar substitute to it or lemonade light from minute maid.

I've read about turmeric being useful for many things. I haven't tried it out yet though.

I never buy them. But in summer, I make fruit juices in the blender. You donĀ“t have to add sugar. If you find you need sugar, add Stevia.

That's awesome. I like fruit. I have attempted to make home made fruit drinks but they didn't taste very good.

@gimitchelray Fresh would be the best - only natural fruit sugar.

Yes I have heard that works for many people. I drink apple cider vinegar mixed into a glass of water usually two to three times a day but I have been forgetting to do so a lot lately so my weight is still not good.

Tea, water or coffee with very little sugar..I can't drink it with no sugar yet.
I do not drink soda ..if I did I know it would put the weight on.
Good luck.

Flavored waters and herbal teas. In fact, my daughter recommends a weight loss tea to her dad. I've never tried it. She gets it from one those health food stores.

there is nothing we are doomed....lol the only way we won the battle is that is has caused me kidney stones from the sugar and we limit the sugar now... it has caused a variety of health problems now.

Go natural, of course, you make your own citrus juice or lemon juice, or you may buy iced tea in a bottle instead of soda

Drink water and add Chrystal Light in it if you do not want to drink just plain water. That way you are getting the intake of water which will help you become more fuller and loose weight, and also the taste of something better.

I love vitamin water, I get the strawberry flavor and tropical citrus. They are both good.
Whenever I stop drinking soda for a while, usually in the hotter weather I drink vitamin water instead.
