Delete Forever

Looking at my Gmail inbox, the list of spam mails an eye sore, I immediately clicked the TRASH button. With another click, I was directed to this DELETE FOREVER button, which upon further inspection, led me to discover an easier access to life. Apparently, if I click this DELETE FOREVER button, I won't have to go back to TRASH to redelete the unwanted files, saving me more nanoseconds to do other menial tasks. Have you tried it?

In one of the comments here, I read about this myLotter who said she lost her sense of smell many years ago. My first reaction was 'Wow, I envy her.' Scent memories plague me all the time. I smell the faintest scent and I'm down the memory lane, traversing the what ifs and the could haves. Not all memories are bad. But not all of them are good either. If only we can wipe clean our memory bank, choose what we want to remember and erase the insignificant ones....

If you can delete something forever, what would it be?
Photo is of the windmill of the Gods.

lovely pic :) yepperz, that'd be a handy-dandy lil feature, eh? 's fer what i'd delete 'n real life? prolly nothin', since all those 'xperiences helped to mold me 'nto who i'm today. a fast ferward button would'a come'n quite handy though, lol.

Terrible memories would probably be a good thing to delete. Useless email accounts might be good to delete also.

Good discovery.
At work, we Outlook. When deleting mails, I Shift+Delete it to permanently delete the mails so I won't have to go to trash. Same with Yahoo. I haven't tried with Gmail..

There does not seem any question of deleting bad memories from mind. The reasons is till we remember bad old memories, we just cannot realize the importance and value of good memories.

I think I will delete forever the scar on my left leg lol. It is so lonely there so I should rather delete it forever and ever. But honestly, I wish I could jut avoid SPAMS that keep coming to my mailbox, because I am tired of deleting them.

That's a beautiful photo @sol_cee . I have never tried that button on Gmail. I too would of course only want to delete those things that lead me back to bad memories....but then I don't know if I would be who I am...I think we need good and bad...it's all to do with that pesky thing called balance.

If we could only delete those toxic people in our life and not just unfriend them... that would make life easier.
Beautiful photo, by the way.

Uuummm ... deleting my spam messages never led me into such deep thoughts.
If I could delete something forever, it would probably be my spam messages.

I didn't know about the delete forever option in gmail and I have gmail. I also don't bother with my spam folder. There are some scents I would like to erase from my memory, but overall, they bring back interesting memories.
If I could delete something forever it would be most of my childhood. Not school. I liked school. Most everything else though.
