No time for myself...

I currently have 3 kids ages 12, 2 and 1 with no helper to help me with my kids. I do enjoy the time I spend with them but I sometimes wish I had time for myself. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining but more of wishing I could squeeze time to do stuff such as having a haircut or watching a movie. Everything is usually a touch and go since my younger ones are clingy to me.
I love all the time I spend with them but at times makes me want to stay in the bathroom a little longer. Or drive around town a little longer so I can take a rest of some sort.
I guess i'll just stick to my little minutes of me time even if its just a bathroom break or to get a snack to eat.

Hard to find a good nanny hence I opted to stay at home full time.

@sublime03 I think it is still fun at home. You can try to teach English online at home

I think what are you wishing is not wrong, however, two of your kids are very young and they just cannot be left alone to look after themselves. Till they grow up, you will have to bear with the situation. To gain something, one needs to lose something.

@sublime03 Yes, you are very right that you need to embrace the situation. As a mother your responsibility increases many folds towards little kids. Hope when they grow up you will be able to find time for yourself.

We all past this stage when the kids are at this age and we just have to embrace it. This is life and my heart is full.

I completely understand you. I love spending time with my children but there are times I have wished for time to myself. But now they are older and busy themselves, I don't always know what to do with that time I have alone!
My current frustration is that I still need to be there for the youngest and take him/pick him up from places so while I do have time to myself while he's wherever he is, there is never enough time to really do anything.

I guess you can have time for yourself when your youngest starts working and they have friends to hangout with. I honestly don't want for my eldest to one day just pass me by and say he's going to his girlfriends place or something like that. I love hanging out with my kids but of course they will all one day have their own families and will have a lot of me time which I'm kinda dreading too.

@sublime03 I understand your problem.A mother seldom gets time for herself. You would have to wait till your kids grow older enough to look after themselves.

Oh the joys of motherhood! But yes, I will have my time years later when the kids are older.

My husband and my eldest helps me with the kids when they are at home. But other than that, I am all alone with the kids.

They are attached to my hip hence the difficulties of finding anyone to watch them. I usually bring them along to everything so I'll just have to find time in between my little errands for my 'me' time.
