have the many spoken?

I woke up this morning to a United Kingdom still clothed overwhelmingly in blue. Here and there the clothing cheekily gapes open to reveal innerwear of red, seemingly with trims of amber. Let's be honest, politics bores the knickers off me. Egotistical debates, politicians who have never lived in the Real World, Coalitions of Chaos, rumour and truth and fibbing and slogans, hung parliaments, talk of taxes and shoes ... I voted for the party who I think will save this country. Our educational policies are failing our children, the NHS is crumbling into the abyss, and the poor are getting poorer. I don't know what will happen now. However, Theresa May should throw all her ridiculous shoes into boxes and vacate 10 Downing Street with immediate effect, dragging her docile and somewhat creepy husband behind her. Am I even allowed to say that? Is it a sueable offence to label someone as creepy?? Has the UK done enough to prove to the Conservatives that the majority of ordinary folk do not agree with their party policies? Have we saved the NHS? Will our children be taught effectively? Please can I have a pay rise? The Future is a little bit bright, definitely not orange, and somewhat scary. And that is all I have to say on the matter.

@poppylicious Do spare a thought for us on this side of the Irish Sea. Ten of our 18 MPs are right wing, sabre-rattling, reactionnary beligerents and seven are sabre-rattlers who refuse to take the seats they have been elected to. I'm so depressed this morning. I obviously didn't vote often enough.

And to add insult to injury, the 10 are just the edge that May's Conservative and Unionist Party needs to be a majority, taking the UK out of the European Union. Nothing Unionist about them, if you think about it.

@pgntwo To think that our national and international destiny depends on the DUP - I thought I'd seen everything.

@xFiacre What to do, alas and alack? And 7 of the other 8 won't take their seats in Westminster... Secretary of State for Northern Ireland and DUP leader, that would be, well... nests are being lined, methinks.

Yes just viewed her speech after dropping in to the palace. I bet the Queen was pretending not to be home when she saw her coming.

I'm surprised her own husband doesn't pretend to be out when he sees her walking up the garden path!

@Poppylicious :( I like Theresa, then again I felt sorry for Nick Clegg who took it like a gentleman. Curse my bleeding liberal heart costumed by my severe right wing exterior. Right off to slaughter some pheasants... Tallyho.

her lack of majority indicates that the balance of blue and red is not totally shifted to the blue - we are under a hung parliament, so May may well be forced to resign.

Haha, hahaha, hahahaha ... *thunk* ... That was the sound of my head falling off with too much laughter. She's a power-hungry b.itch. She will never resign.
