Do you believe in reciprocating?

When we are here we keep responding to different posts started by our those whom we follow and other users. Some of the users make sure that when we start our own posts, they do not fail to respond to our posts, which actually feels good and shows that they know how to reciprocate.
Are you the one one believe in reciprocating or you respond randomly, without bothering which users are particular in responding to your posts?
Image is by me.

I know it very well that you do not fail to reciprocate. Hats off to you for your approach.
You are right that when there is no discussion by our followers/to whom we follow, to be responded, then we check other kinds of discussion.

I know that you generally reciprocate. Of course, it is very necessary that you could relate to a post (stated by your follower/to whom you follow) then only you could respond.

@dpk262006 I usually read most of the discussions written by those I follow. I only skip a few that I do not judge interesting.

@dpk262006 I have observed lately many of my regulars are nowhere to be seen and my discussions are totally neglected. I am losing interest here.

I firmly believe in reciprocating. When someone commented in my posts, I would comment back and also find something from his posts that might interest me.
My motto in life is "Do Unto Others As You would Like Others Do Unto You" , that's why.

@SIMPLYD I know that you always ensure that you do not skip to make any comment on the responses received from other mylotters. I can understand that you were busy during weekend with offline commitments, so was I.

@dpk262006 And that's what I am doing now, trying to comments back on all those who commented in my latest post because I wasn't able to do so during the weekends and yesterday, Monday, a holiday. Busy with family.

Yes I try to respond to the discussions of the people who responded on mine but honestly sometimes I don't understand some posts and sometimes I don't have time to read long posts so I give it a miss. I always check the posts of the people I am following and if have more time then new posts as well.

I know that you do not fail to reciprocate to those who come and respond to your discussions. Yes, it is primary thing that you should relate to a post, then only you could respond to it.
PS - Sorry for the late comments.

I respond like I'm having a conversation. I don't think in terms of "reciprocation". It's just chit chat. I'm talking to friends.

Welcome to mylot family. You seem to be new to the site?
It is good that you post comments to responses received in response to your discussions. However, do you reciprocate to the users who have responded to you?
PS - I have noticed that you have joined mylot today and you have started as many as 21 new discussions in a day. We are hopeful that you would able to do justice with all of your discussions.

It is understandable that you respond to those discussions which draw your attention and where you could share something. However, do you make sure that users who respond to your discussions, you go and and check their discussions and respond accordingly.

@m_audrey6788 Of course you would only respond to those discussions, which attract your attention, you could not respond to all the posts of a user.

I guess everyone has their "methods" here. I have no method . I have to be honest and say I do things randomly here . . . and most of us "random" folks have that understanding. I wouldn't say I don't bother with who responds . . . I do take mental notes on who I communicate with. But I don't want a relationship here to be robotic with anyone . . . we just communicate when we do. And then there are friends who I will always come back to . . . even if it is very late .

Yes, random selection could be made for responding to the posts. When a user regularly responds to our discussions we surely keep a mental note about him/her and we try our best that we could reciprocate by responding to his posts.

It means it is purely random in our case and you just respond to a post because you could relate to the post and could contribute something on it.

I like the pic. I respond to posts that are meaningful to me. I also respond to posts by those who have not had a response, and sometimes I go to the new comers posts and respond to them to help encourage their future participation. Sometimes I can't keep up with all the very interesting discussions here at myLot.

You are the only one who not not only noticed my picture but appreciated it. Many thanks for it.
Basically, you check those posts, which do not have any response and you respond accordingly, so as to encourage the user. It is great on your part.
We all cannot keep pace with each category of discussions due to lack of time and other reasons.
