Chipmunks are so cute. We had lots of them running around our yard when I was a kid. I'm surprised he stayed still long enough for you to catch a picture

I like watching urban wildlife! I'm inside at the moment, looking hopefully at the window for a bit of sunlight. But even though the sky is brighter right now, with scattered high clouds, we will be getting rain this afternoon. Our high temperatures are in the 60s (15C) for the next week or so, with showers continuing. There are a couple of tall Douglas fir trees a few feet from my back door and lots of birds and squirrels shelter in them. And occasionally a raccoon crosses our little street here in the trailer park.

I love that rock and your precious photo of the chipmunk! Perhaps Chippy hides in it when no one is looking. Just came into the house after seeing too many chipmunks with Doodles.
