Do you prefer to a female or male doctor?

The skill is important, but I also find it important for a doctor to be moral.

I often think that male doctors will be much more professional because they have more time focus on their careers.

@youless In that respect, they both would be since they have equal schooling, which is a lot, with residencies and internships before they start their own practices. I just find male doctors, my experience so far, doesn't have the compassion I'm looking for. Women, in my experience, listen more and are ready to explore options. I had a female doctor until she retired and I inherited a male doctor. Not very happy with that outcome.

Yes, but unfortunately such kind of good doctors are not so common. Perhaps today there are many patients and the doctors have no time to be patient.

It seems today female patients still prefer to a female doctor and the male patients have no problem to it.
