How do you relax after work?

Working too hard to the extent that we no longer have time for ourselves and our family is not good. There should be a time for everything and our life should be balance. There must be love, work, and play. Love must be present because we are humans with feelings. Work is needed so we can sustain our needs. Play is also a must to enjoy life because all work will make someone dull. Do you think so?

@just4him I love writing but I don't know how much I love it. I haven't done it for a long time.

@annierose It isn't a passion for you if you haven't done it in a long time.

@just4him But I always have this yearning to be a writer. Sometimes I don't understand myself.

I like to relax by reading, watching TV, and listening to music.

I'm old, so I take a nap.
I will usually go to the gym or the park (depending on the weather) and walk, or have a nice, long lunch.

We definitely need to find ways to relax. I don't think it should all be about work. I do like spending with my family and doing things with them. Sometimes, I'll find time to read or watch a show or something like that. Going for a walk helps me relax as well. Just some things that I do.

@dodo19 Those are things that I like to do. I remember my Chinese friend on your response. Whenever he saw me very tired, he would ask me out for a walk.

I used to find it easy to relax, but the older I get, the harder it is to stop working and start playing! Just can't seem to do it!!

@Hate2Iron I am on my 30's and I sometimes find myself too absorb with my job. Then, I remind myself that there should be a balance or else I will feel unhappy.

I do kick boxing every after my work. I as well do other recreational activities during weekends. I tried my best not to be too much drawn by my work. I try my best to balance my time and make time for everything. Whenever I am so depressed that I don't know what to do, I go to church to relieve everything that's bothering me. And every after worship services I attended, I feel lifted and great. I also make sure to find time to meet my friends---old and new acquaintances, Just a little chatting, bonding and laughing with them will really makes me feel relaxed.

@klynlyn I think meeting my friends is the one I do not usually do. I have very few friends because I am not a sociable person. I devote most of my times in our house reading, or watching a movie, or writing.
