Gray hair is an issue of heredity not diet. My mother cannot remember her father not having gray hair. It is hereditary to gray early in my family. In some families it is not. My mother had her first gray at 14 I had mine at 16.

yes, I have many greys and i am only 36 years old. I know for sure it is hereditary my mother greyed at a young age and she used to dye it auburn for years until someone told her to stop dying it and it is a beautiful silvery gray and looks nice. I think i will use henna though.

OMG, I never heard that dying your hair could make it go gray.
I'm a natural blonde but lighten it, and noticed grays coming in about 3 years ago. Man, that just stinks if that were true!

No, I don't think thats true. You're greying is genetically predispositioned, so your best bet is to ask your parents around what age they started greying, as a good indication.
I'm 19 and I've dyed my hair since I was 12, and I haven't had a single grey yet. However my best friend, who is 19 also, has never dyed her hair, and I've been pulling greys out of her head since she was 13. She's oly got a few strands, but she's definitely had greys since that young age. However, her mother is only in her 40's and is FULLY greyed.

I was just eighteen years old when I first saw some gray nhair patches on my head, initially it was not, so I never dyed my hair but not because it's half my head with his full of gray hairand no other option but to color my hair every fifteen days. normally be seen most of the young people today are facing this problem of premature graying of hair. I think it's because of pollution and wrong eating habits

I got my first grays at age 16. I now have a skunk stripe at age 35. I don't mind my grays. Early graying runs in my family. I have had my stripe since I was 23.

To tell the truth, very little. At my age, it's a miracle. I don't need to dye my hair.

thankfully my hair has not yet started their greying . but i still do colour my hair.dyeing does't make the hair more gray but it doe tend to make it more dry and coarse. so using a good conditioner regularly is a must

I had my first gray hair when I was 15. Now it is just about all gray (36). Runs in the family.
