Have you ever bought something and deeply regretted it afterwards?

At times I can be a bit lazy when it comes to cooking. Yesterday I was feeling a bit tired and decided to buy one of those ready meals. It was salmon with pesto pasta. The taste was awful and I couldn't eat any of it. I deeply regretted having bought it and also for being lazy. I won't be buying those ready meals again. It was a bad experience. Did you ever regret what you bought?

Yes, it happens. One is a pancake mix that I bought... Buckwheat gross
I never tried salmon with pesto pasta, sounds like a combo I wouldn't try.

@Nawsheen yeah even though I don't like mine with syrup on top it's not that bad and side of fresh fruits lol
I'd be a total waste if it's disgusting

Yes it happens many times with me. Recently I bought a dress for a party and I found it was defective, I really liked the dress so I was very disappointed about the defect. Thank God I was able to return it and got my money back.

I have the same experience with one fine dining restaurant that my daughter recommended.
She said that restaurant serves good food, so, trusting my daughter's taste buds I ordered buttered chicken with cheese and mushroom sauce.
The taste is not that bad, but, the butter is burnt a bit that gives unsatisfactory taste and aroma.

@jaiho2009 you would expect the quality to be good but alas that was not the case

@Nawsheen I agree, considering a fine dining costs higher than other restaurant.

I ordered for door mats which I noticed, when they arrived, they did not have anti slip protection.

@allknowing I fear those mats not have anti slip protection. It can be dangerous at times especially if you ceramic tiles in the house

there was a time i would drop by the mall after work to "destress" before commuting home, just walking around and looking. one time i bought a short-sleeved blazer (to wear over blouses), yet i never wore it once. i ended up giving it away to relatives.

Yes. I bought my son two pairs of trousers which didn't fit him... I was too lazy to exchange them so I gave them away. Out of sign, out of mind..

Yes sometimes I get lazy to exchange too and sometimes the shipping cost to return the item maybe quite high that it is preferable to keep it. Well you did a good thing by giving it away. At least the other person is using it and it won't bother you too
