I didn't win the 1 Million Dollars!

I am so sorry. I am not lucky, I entered several competitions and I never won, my Mom won a lot of stuff.

No I never did win a competition but I did win a raffle at a place I used to work. I won a trip. It was fun. I am so sorry you did not win..keep trying DANI and I am glad you came to tell us..I was hoping you would win.

I'm sorry to her that you didn't win. I haven't really won anything. I did win a draw back in high school. There was a lecture given at our school, which a few of us couldn't attend due to the drama club rehearsals, but they were giving 2500$ for bursaries for cegep/college things and such. My name was the one they picked. Probably one of the only things I've ever really won.

I entered several competitions in the past. I think my best price, at least the more funny, was when I compete for an Arctic cruise. I did not won the cruise, but I won a consolation prize : a hot water bottle. I used to do a daily competition on a French quizz site now disappeared. There were about 1000 people competing every evening at 8 pm by teams of 5 for a free quizz (the site was offering also a competition with an entrance fee), and the top 10 was earning a bit of money : $1 for the members of the first team... $0.10 for the members of the 10th team. My team was 2 or 3 days/week among the top 10, and I earned more than $100 on this site.

I am a second placed in a singing competition and third place in an impromptu speech. That's all.

I've entered a few competitions in my life . . . but one I think you will find funny - relating to your post. It was paper art competition . . . and I kid you not that I entered a paper pizza - with all the toppings - and put in a pizza box. I doubt the prize was anywhere near a million dollars, but I didn't win either . . . I just got a participant poster with all the entries on it .

I haven't entered any competitions like that, but I've entered garden contests and won.

Sorry you didn't win. I usually do not buy lottery tickets because you are more likely to be killed by a vending machine falling on you than winning.

Drat! Well at least you had the pizza. I wonder if I can have some too. Probably not since I just ate.

I recently won a drawing for a $10 gift card from Amazon. That's about the only thing I've ever won even though I often enter contests and sweepstakes. I was really pleased to win that. I'm sorry you did not win the money, that would have been a wonderful thing! You'll undoubtedly have other chances and I wish you luck!

About 10 years ago I entered a Mother's Day Drawing through a Christian radio station. I was on the phone with my mom and she was telling me the odds were not in my favor when I got a call on the other line--it was the radio station calling to let me know I had won! The prize? A limo for the day, a gift card (I think it was $200) to our local mall, a dinner at a fancy restaurant (worth up to $300), and a manicure/pedicure for 4 at a salon. I ended up taking my mom, my sister, and my grandma (as we were all mothers). We all went out to the restaurant, too (including my step-dad, hubby, and kids) in the limo.

You got to be in it to win it. Indeed! Unlike me, I always wish of winning the lottery but I never entered.
