Today, I saw the post of one of my bacthmates who went to Manila via an airplane.
She took pictures of Mayon Volcano it passed by while the plane was up in the sky.
They were clear pictures of Mayon. I asked her permission if can repost it or use it in my post and she said sure.
So now, you can see Mayon Volcano , from above. It looks so near and calm, but don't be deceived of how calm it looks. It is an active volcano that can erupt at any time.
Now, at least you have an idea of how it looks from above.

Actually, it erupted in 2006 about June and deposited a lot of debris on its foot. Then when a big typhoon hit us November 2006, it caused flush flood because of the rain, bringing down to the river that overflowed because of the boulders and drowned lots of people while on their houses, hit by those boulders. It killed more than 300 people.

Just looked up Wikipedia about this volcano and its said that "Sept 12, 2016 The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) has warned of a possible "big" Mayon eruption in the coming day"
Very active volcano I should say..

Thank you too for viewing it. I am happy that I shared it here for everyone to see especially those from other countries.
Thanks to mobile cameras. At least we always have a ready camera to shoot a picture when we see something as awesome as this, especially up there in the sky.
I suppose there are no volcanoes in your place.

@ridingbet Then maybe someday when classes are on vacation. Though, I know it would indeed be not good when no one will stay at the house.

Thank you.
December is a rainy month, s most likely Mayon will not really appear in its splendor glory. February is also the same. The best month to always see Mayon is during summer which usually starts late March.
PM me when you come here, so we can finally see each other too. I can tour you here and take a picture of you with Mayon in the background.

No, because we are far from it actually. It's just that it is so big and high.
Besides the Phiippine volcanologists monitors it everyday. Thus, the people will be warned if it might erupt. Thus, within the danger zone will be made to evacuate.
