Do your comments dissappear after you have posted them ?

Do you try to comment on another comment only to find that in some cases, not always, your comment vanishes?
Is this a glitch?
OR is it happening on purpose?
Every now and then I go back to a discussion only to find that one of my comments vanished. But I do know it was there before. Is this a form of editing by the masters on high?
Or is it simply a glitch?

Comments can be removed by the starter of a discussion, the responder or an admin, responses by the starter of the discussion or an admin. Last time I had a response deleted, the author of the discussion sent me a PM to tell me the reason, and I found it valid. I should not have noticed it though, and I am not sure I see it each time it happens, as we do not receive any notification when a comment or a response is deleted.

Yea, I understand that. But I don't go against guidelines so for that reason it must be a thing that I continue to wonder about and have no real answer for. I would think that there are a number of factors that might cause a glitch in the system, such as too many views at a time or the refresh rate of a browser. These are very real technical issues that might cause a comment to not be posted and be taken as a deliberate deletion when in fact it may very well be a technical issue.

could be removed by the discussion starter or admin or maybe they didn't post correctly.
I doubt it is a glitch or we'd all experience it.
