The weekend is here. After a hectic week at work I want to go out to have some fun and relax. I am thinking about the perfect place to go. I usually go to the beach but I want go somewhere else for a change. There is a nature park that I have not been to for a very long time. It is so peaceful over there. There are also many beautiful streams and waterfalls. This is where I am planning to go. What is the most perfect place to relax according to you?

Watching the waves can be so relaxing. If I happen to visit India one day maybe we can go to the beach together. But it will be a girls only event @HAPPSINGH

I think for a change you could go to nature park and thereafter if you have time you could enjoy waterfalls. Waterfalls give a breathtaking view and one feels mesmerized seeing beauty of the nature.

For me the perfect place to relax is my home. I like to go and visit new places but nothing is more peaceful and beautiful than my home.

Yes, a park with streams is very nice. Also, the beach, the mountain, anywhere with nature. Will you be going alone or with friends or family?

Yes, that place that you will be going to is indeed a very relaxing place to go. Even if you will not be swimming, just simply sitting by a hut gazing at the waterfalls, can really give you that peace of mind you cannot get at the workplace.
Anyway, for me, the most relaxing place when I don't want to spend any money, is our bedroom. Just lying in bed, with my husband, watching a nice movie will already be so relaxing for us. Without my husband, I can also just lie in bed, do myLotting or scrolling at Fb and posting some nice quotes and see if it gets likes is already relaxing to me.

Its a perfect place to relax and you will be re energized for next week. I think for anyone with a very busy life, this would be a perfect spot to spend time away from the sound, pollution and the crowd.

@nitirrbb7 I understand you. Previously, I used to work in a very peaceful area surrounded by greenery. I took up another job and now working in the big city. I hate the busy city life.
Anyway, we have to adapt

@Nawsheen it's been 10 years now we also used to live in a place surrounded by nature, I was born and brought up there. It was a office quarters given to my father he worked for Godrej. After his retirement we had to shift and the place we are now is completely the opposite of where I grew up. It was life back then and really miss those days.

I like the place in the picture, would really enjoy visiting the National Parks out west. For now, I'll just head to the beach and chill out.

@dgobucks226 This looks amazing. The lightings make the trees stand out. Can you also purchase plants from there?

@Nawsheen Another place I've gone to is a place called Longwood Gardens which is a botanical garden with all kinds of exotic plants. I visited there during the holiday season and they had an amazing light display on the trees along a route you walked. Even a summer beach person like me really found it both relaxing and enjoyable.
Here's a photo....
