Liar, Liar

Liar, liar, pants on fire Hanging from a telephone wire Swinging left and swinging right Body twisting in the night Liar, liar, would you say It's you who lights the world today? Would you smile? Would you cry? If you knew today you'd die Liar, liar, set me free! I know how you conceal the key Fiction tumbles from my lips I myself repeat your quips Liar, liar, hold me tight Hanging, swinging, feels so right I fear to die, yet fear to live Fear, most of all, the truth to give Liar, liar, here I die Though I know you'd never cry Stones only left within your eyes Covered now by oil and flies Liar, liar, carry me Or, in your silence, leave me be Soon I shall not need a thing While others stop to watch me swing
