I Never Stop Dreaming: Did You?!?

I can’t understand why some people stop dreaming. “Is it possible?” When I was a child, I am a dreamer and carried it up to this day. For me, dreaming is for free and wanted to be motivated. I had known somebody who had stopped dreaming. “Why?” He thinks that everything is on his hands now. That’s being so silly of him to claim this. “Did you stop dreaming?” Image Credit: pixabay.com

Oh I love dreaming. It is good. It keeps you happy...and must be bringing up right types of hormones..lol. That said, I prefer being practical as well. Building castles in the air duly considering practicalities is more rewarding. :)

It was really a fun thing to dream. It brings back the old days and ignites to keep on going in the future. It can be never ended by just a wink of an eye.

Dreams of our youth change as we mature. It seems dreams for me is just to accomplish one thing, one day at a time for now.

I agree that dreams will change through the years of existence. As we grow older, we can have these dreams in baby steps.

There are times when I can be really good and it and then times, when my brain does not want to co-operate at all!

I also have this situation wherein I can't think of something. After I am back to my senses, it is time to dream again.

@Shavkat I was just thinking about dreaming this morning and the fact that I honestly can't remember when I last had a dream. I think that I'm about due!

I still dream, everytime I sleep hhhh. Kidding aside, I tjink people tend to stop dreaming overtime because of heartaches from life failures and mistakes

It is possible that some people will experience this. They tend to stop dreaming because of depression.

All my life, my dream was to write and publish a novel. I wrote poetry and short stories and I even wrote human interest stories for a couple newspapers. But, finally, I made up my mind to write a novel and get it published, which I did a couple years ago. I am 75 years old but never gave up on my dream.

I've had simple dreams back when I was young; simple things like my own computer, room, bed, my own fan and even a small tv and closet..Those were my simple dreams and now I got them all. My dream as of this moment is to travel and probably saving money

@ridingbet I think they are not. I can see my evil relatives. I don't think that they are happy for treating us badly. They might not feel at this point in time. But I am sure it will happen to them in the future.

I think when you are still single you have alot of dreams. As you get older and married with children, you don't really have time for your own dream any more... You sort of move your dream to reality and focus more on your family... I don't even know what my dream was any more.. Are you talking about dream when we sleep or the other dream?

If a person is committed to his own family, I do agree that priorities will change. They are a part of life that can still be a dream of having them. We can dream something not for oneself anymore but as a whole.
