What Do You Do For Your Birthday?

Yesterday (July 2) was my birthday. I went over to my mom's to celebrate. My brother lives with her with his wife and he had his 2 oldest kids there. My sister, her husband and their 2 kids came over as well. I went with my bf and our son.
We grilled out (steak) and had a cake. Normally I don't do much for my birthday but have a cake and sometimes my parents will take me out to eat. I think it's very nice of them to do. Plus I get to spend time with family. Sometimes we do a combined thing with celebrating the 4th of July. I guess that's one plus of having a birthday close to a holiday like the 4th.

That's good. I think the best part was my 2 year old telling me Happy Birthday Mama. He started singing it lol.

Yeah it was immediate family for me although 2 of my sisters were not there. My younger sister that was there, she usually goes all out for birthdays but her husband has a lot of family and they are just used to having big celebrations. It's crazy the amount of money they have spent on parties for their kids.

Happy Belated Birthday! I rarely celebrate my birthday, if I do, it would be a nice, simple dinner outside with my close family.

My husband and I eat dinner using a Birthday Coupon from one of the local restaurants. We don't have cake now and only had a cake when one of our children had a birthday years ago.

Mine's in a couple weeks. I haven't any plans at this time, but that can change. Normally I don't do anything. Happy Birthday. It sounds like you had a very nice day.
