Are you craving for your childhood tidbits as much as I do?
When I was 5 years old, my granny used to bring me and my younger brother to the nearby grocery shop to buy our favorite tidbit; MAMEE dried instant noodle with seasoning. Back then, a packet of MAMEE cost 2 cents and the size of the tidbit was bigger, crunchier and less salty.
After 40 years, this MAMEE tidbit is still in the market. Now, a packet cost 60 cents, which is 300% increased in price! It taste saltier, smaller and thinner in size, darker color and too crispy that it hurts my teeth!
What is your childhood tidbits that you used to eat during those good old days?

I thought that was an ice cream!, Look alike crushed ice mixed with syrup, right?

there were much fewer crunchy chips, soft and hard candies, chocolates, ice cream and drinks when we were growing up. there were lesser street food and fastfood chains, too.

There were so many things I remember. But here are a few. If I had a nickle, I could buy 10 oatmeal cookies or a roll of tropical flavored life savers. I loved the pineapple flavored life savers. If I had ten cents, I could buy an ice cream sandwich or a Hershey's chocolate bar with almonds.
