What tree is your country known for?

I love fruits. But my favorite is mangoes! We live in a tropical country and my husbands province is known for its mangoes. We have been gifted by his parents with a small parcel of land there so we decided to plant it with some trees. Its almost been 10 years now since we planted the mangoe seedlings. And now its somewhat grown! We're so very happy that we decided then to plant it. So if you are given the chance to plant one, what would it be?

We have a mango tree that my father, my younger brother and I planted a long time ago. It's now a large tree and has a tree house on top. I wish I have a banana plantation that has all the varieties that we have in the Philippines.

@HeartBM my mother has small piece of land in the province, our mango tree and tree house is in our house here in Metro Manila.

wow! I have this notion that you have a big farm. Am I right? If you do, planting a variety of fruit trees would be wonderful. If i did we would have done the same

@louievill That's really great! It's uncommon to see any kind of trees here in Metro Manila. Your property must be quite big

Mangoes are my favorite fruits and we have three different varieties of Mango trees in our garden. However, I would love to have a pomegranate tree ..

thats wonderful. I didn't know that India has mangoes as well. I hope I can taste it someday hahaha. Pomegranate is a good tree. In my country it's called Granada tree. Although it's not popular here as the mangoes are

@HeartBM For your information India is the largest producer of Mangoes in the world and has as many as 300 different breeds . Alphonsa is the most expensive and considered to be the tastiest mango in the world which s exported to many countries in the world.

I love coconut
To say there are quite a few different use of a coconut is a huge understatement, there are hundreds of uses of this fruit of the Palm Tree. Every part of the coconut and the tree has a purpose.

That is cool! Havig an orchard would be great. Here in my country it's hard to grow grapes and I'm not sre why. I have this notion that it has something to do with the climate
