Getting things done over doing what you love..

I’ve always been craving for a life where I can do what I love, what I’m passionate about and things that resonate with me. It’s just weird because there are days that I’m on fire working my ass off to create better results, cure my insecurities, and impress my boss. And also days in my life that I’ve thought of questioning myself.. and sometimes I get disheartened knowing that this isn’t something that I really want. I’ve tried to avoid things that get me envious and just keep doing what I’ve been doing to make life and put some money in my back account.
I’ve posted stuff on my social media and set up a time to create and publish quality contents, but it’s just really hard and weird to do all of these at the same time. I’ve felt like I should start prioritizing things that get me going for a living and it puts more pressure on me. I finding it hard to balance everything that I’ve had and what I’m having right now. My desire to do what I wanted to do has just been fading away, and I feel empty.
My brain can’t absorb things at the same time. It’s exhausting to try balancing work and passion all at once... I feel like I have to leave things behind in order to get successful results in everything that I do. But NO. That’s impossible to do. People say, maybe I think too much or maybe I’m just being a lack of assuring myself. Maybe, yes. Maybe no.
Getting some work that I’ve given myself and am being given by others can be so overwhelming, and exhausted. I know, they say it’s all in the mind. I did that. Believe it or not.
What I am trying to say here is that when you start prioritizing certain things in life, focus on what’s more important to you. Things that make you a human. Things that make you feel alive. Be patient. I know it’s not going to be an easy road, but don't put too much pressure on yourself to gain instant results because unless you're super lucky it just won't happen. Creating your own brand for a living takes a lot of time and mental energy and it’s going to drain the joy out of something you love.
But when you start finding your niche, start doing what you LOVE to do, keep improving things that you have started to do, always go for that. When you finally discover what you are capable of and start giving your true self to the world, I believe that you'll gain more than what you’ve given. It takes one moment, a break to bring you in the spotlight!

Yes you are right..number one we must find something we love to do. And most things then will fall into place.
Welcome to myLot.
I know how that is too many things going on all at once.
You will do good as you are motivated.

Hi there! Another Filipino here. I love your post, I mean it reminds me of an old proverb that amazing things can be accomplished when you got your heart into it. Hope you enjoy your stay here!

I agree to your advice, we only live once. It is really hard to live by the dogma of others. I know how you feel.

I have a little bit of that conflict too---where some days you want to "accomplish something" & others you just want to 'sit back and let the world accomplish things for itself (things it can share with you later).'
It's kinda summarized by King Solomon's "Ecclesiastes" 'Life is a Vanity-of-Vanities.' Nothing you can do but "Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil."
Sure, 'doing good and getting good things in return for them' is certainly a worthwhile distraction; but 'you can't take it with you!'

I think this is also Mr. Trump have said. When you feel bored in your work, you don't love your work because if you love it there's no pressure and even vacation.

I like your attitude. I always hated working for someone else. Now, where I sell I have to deal with others and not my own boss. When I leave there I am my own boss. I want to find more things where I do not have to answer to someone else but help someone else. I want to continue my selling , but, do other things as well.
