A few times when I am really under pressure I will go and attack the biscuits. But even then I don´t eat many of them say about three extra as I feel full right away and it eases the emotional stuff going on.

I used to. I also do what they call "comfort food," turning to food when things aren't going well. I haven't had an eating binge in a while, and I'm thankful for that. I've lost 16 pounds this year, so trying to stay away from the "eat because it's there" mentality has paid off.

How do you control? Even I am an emotional eater. I turn to food for all the bad reasons and it's hard to get rid of.

Yes it could happen, some people keep eating all the time because they have nothing better to do. It is also a fact that many a times instead of drinking water we eat something , thinking we are hungry. We need to learn to differentiate between the two.

True. They suggest to drink a glass of water instead of food, to find out if it was real hunger. But with boredom eating, its not about being hungry. We don't feel hungry, we just feel like eating something

Eating unhealthy is what we do when we eat for wrong reasons. I think there is some physiological reason for it.
