Yes, my driving instructor is a twelve years old boy (oh boy ) (^__^) I enrolled in a driving school a decade ago. At one session my twelve years old son asked my driving instructor if he can take a ride. My driving instructor agreed coz there's no other car/student at the range. My son sat silently at the backseat . After an hour the instructor asked if I want to take a break. That was the time my son said " can I drive" ? Summary: My son took the rest of my driving session and that's how he became my driving instructor after his driving lesson How old are you when you learned to drive dear mylotters? Have a great day everyone jaiho2009 8:55pm Thursday PT July 5,2017

Its the same here dahling, you can't drive til you're 16. I had my driving lesson with my son in an open area near our place so nobody knows it is him who's teaching me. Most probably, anyone who sees us will think that I am the instructor

Good enough that you know how to drive my dear , driver's license will follow. I have my driver's license but not driving most of the time. I prefer to sit and enjoy the ride especially with the traffic jam (uh uh)

@jaiho2009 No, I will never pay $3,000 to have lessons and have a driver's license. In this country to have lesson with a professional instructor is mandatory.

Wow, really? At age twelve he already learned how to drive and even became your instructor? Well I guess, if I can remember well, it almost at the same age when I learned how to drive. I started with a motorcycle with a sidecar. It was my Uncle who thought me how to use the ABC of driving, accelerator, brake and clutch. But at my own, I learned to drive four wheeled vehicles when I turned 18.

Ka Miguel Bike
@jaiho2009 I too started earlier than other kids of my time. But because we don't have cars or any vehicle, I started with bicycle. I was a small child at age 7 or 8 if I can remember very well, I ride my lolo's bike, the big one which was popularly known then as Ka Miguel. Hehe

Actually he's not even twelve by that time my dear bro. Well, his passion with cars is the main reason. Besides , I think most our boys (pinoys) dreamt of driving and are eager to learn whenever they get the chance.

at least you know how to drive my friend, that is good enough. I am not an expert as well , because I enjoyed being the passenger the most. My son is a , what do they call that "a h*ll of a driver ". I started this topic coz on my way to meet with business people the uber driver I booked coincidentally is a friend and he told me that he saw my son's skilled driving. He also asked why I took uber and did not ask my son to drive for me and I said my son's busy at their car shop so, I better booked an uber then.

@jaiho2009 But I don't drive, my friend. After we got an accident before, I stopped to do it anymore. I asked my younger to drive me. If he is not available, I will just commute

Learning the basics of driving is good enough especially in case of emergency. I don't drive much coz, I love being the passenger most of the time

@jaiho2009 i have mastered driving cool, even in stressful situations like heavy traffic. the 12 year old driving instructor, your son, is still too young to get himself a driver's license.

I learned to drive when I was rather old for it (at around 35) because we did not have money for a car for me before so there was no need for it.

I don't want to drive. I have learned in the past and everyone that drove with me said I was a good driver. However, when I get scared I panic and freeze behind the wheel. It's more dangerous for me to drive than not so I just don't do it.

I don't know how to drive. They were about to back in 2009 because of my application abroad. I was afraid back then but It didn't pursue because Embassy rejected me.

Great, that's a courage. You know that I can't drive a bike ( but I know how to use a bicycle). I always have this fear that a car or a bus might hit me sideways each time I am riding a bike. I feel safe with a car ;=)
