I am not really sure if these are classified as flowers or weeds. I always see them growing in abundance everywhere so I will assume they are weeds. These were on the back side of Jacob's grandfather's farm and there were tons of them. I decided to get a close up of them because I haven't really posted any close-up photos in a long time. I love how it turned out though. I love it so much that it is currently the profile picture for my Facebook Photography page. The one of the orange and black butterfly is my cover photo.

That is what I assume as well. Some are commenting that they could be wildflowers and I am sure they are but they aren't very attractive looking so I am sure not many would pick them to put in a bouquet of flowers.

It is cool that you like photography and I wish that I could do that. I like to take pictures of my son and sometimes myself or other people or some combination but I am not a big picture taking person.

@CaseyRoss9966 I have learned a little bit about from reading and watching things and I learned that it is more complex than people think. I admire and respect your talent and am glad that you enjoy it. Maybe you can make money out of it someday if you want.

I really love doing it. I feel like it is an unappreciated professional because so many people try to do it. Honestly, every person with a camera phone thinks they can be a photographer but it is a lot harder than people think it is. I have had many people tell me that all I do is point my camera and press a button and that anyone can do it but I know some people who are "trying" to do it and aren't any good at all because they thought it was an easy thing to do. Sadly, a lot of people on here have been like that when I first started posting and didn't understand why editing was necessary. They are the ones who think that the photos professionals post are just magically that nice looking. A lot of photography is angles, lighting, and sometimes a lot of editing. I have thought about posting discussions on here of the before and afters to show people how much goes into it. You also have to have the heart, passion, and drive to do it as a professional.

This is really a nice capture Casey.
I am not a botanist but I do believe these may be weeds of some type.

Thank you. They grow all over the place here.

I think they are weeds. That's a nice picture though.

A wildflower could be called a weed.

I see them growing everywhere and not just in fields is why I assume they are weeds. I know many people don't think they are attractive to look at if they grew their flowers or garden.
