What do you do when you're addicted to a single song?

I think everyone has had this kind of addiction ever in yours lives, right? But how do you get rid of it when it happens?
Do you listen to music until you get bored, look for new songs, just stop listening to the music or try to do something else? Tell me about it!

@aishanee I do something similar while writing, and listening to a song on loop on itunes or repeatedly on youtube while writing or doing stuff online.

I pretty much impersonate Stewie in that .gif you have.
I'll hit repeat on a song a few times when one comes on the iPod....then I'll move on to the next great song.

I am sure you would look good in an "I heart Jim Reeves" straightjacket.

I think it really depends to be honest. Sometimes Usually I will listen to the song on repeat til it gets boring. But sometimes I will try to avoid the song if I can as well. I hate when it's one of those songs that is just catchy but you know you don't REALLY like it haha, you just somehow have it in your head, if that makes any sense at all.

A song pretty much naturally burns itself out after awhile. A new one comes along.
