Its crazy the things you dont notice or simply appreciate when your in a dark place. I made a few changes in my life for the overall benefit of my health but now im seeing that I was missing out on the little things that mean soo much more to me.
To me nothing is more important than my Wife and my children and deep down inside I genuinly want to live long enough to see them graduate from college and have their own family one day.
As parents we must set the example so about a month ago I made myself a promise that I would do everything in my power to get back in shape, live a healthier lifestyle and dedicate every minute of my life in bettering myself for my familys sake.
So far its working, im spending more time with my kids, taking them out more and I stopped drinking and playing video games and invets my time into them to see their beautiful smiles and hear their laughter that makes my heart smile.

That's great. It can be so hard to pull yourself away from a dark place or to realise just how much we have when we dwell on what we haven't. I try to appreciate every little thing every day now. Of course, some days are still hard and things get too much at times but overall, things are better than before.

I agree, there is nothing more, important than family, watching your kids grow up and watching the high school graduated was special then college. I am glad I didn't miss these events.. There was a time my health was bad, still ot the best, but it held me back a bit. I just realize there are people who depend on me and I have to stay healthy.. or they lose out and I lose out.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX that is great. Since my heart attack and heart surgery I have to make a lot of changes in my life. It won't be easy but it will be worth it to live a happier, healthier life.
