People are more important but it does not make any difference to abuse either.

in my opinion each and every living being on this earth has equal importance be it people or animals

Human beings are far important for me. In reality, humans are superior in the animal kingdom.

I think that the bible said that the animals were put here for us to use and eat. However, that being said, I will not stand for anyone mistreating animals if there is anything I can do to stop it! That includes turning them into authorities. I don't think they are necessarily equal because if it was between my dog and my daughter, it would be a hard choice but my daughter would win hands down!
