How Environmental Friendly Are you? Be Honest...

Hi friends, Today I was a bit angry with few people that they were wasting water and using tissues just to wipe the hands after hand-wash. I have seen such things happen always around me. I do my best to save our nature. Its been ages that I used tissue papers. I'm also making sure that water is never wasted. What are your view-points? Do you waste water/paper? Are you environmental friendly?

@vsai2008 You are right friend. Even after several awareness, the change has to come first from oneself. That is the first step we can save nature.

That is good. Educated people in India are not wanting to save the nature. Sad to say this.

@devops in tact many people do that here . You must have heard of Vana Mahotsava. We just celebrated it last week by distributing saplings to students and planting some by the roadside .

@kiran8 Are you a teacher? That's wonderful. Trees and plants are equivalent to God. It must be celebrated. Yes, there are several initiatives by schools, colleges, NGOs, etc. But, am concerned about the other side of the people who are destroying them.

My city implemented the Solid Waste Management. I think it is a good strategy to be environmental-friendly.

I tell few colleagues if I know them about the thing they are wasting. Difficult to tell all. Sad to know educated people are doing such things.

In our country there is not much water, so whoever wastes water will receive a fine

That's wonderful Gil. The government should take strict actions. Since there is water here, people shouldn't start wasting things.

The fact that you complain about that is remarkable never stop caring and yeah wasting things is never right but people tend to take things for granted

You are right. The fact is these things are provided for free by our company to the employees. They shouldn't take things for granted just because its free. Sad!
