Pancakes On The Deck

Good morning everyone, what a glorious morning. It is 76 degrees (24.4C) and I have been up for a couple of hours. I had a much better night leaving the youngsters down in the family room. I got up and fed the dogs, made a cup of coffee and then decided I wanted to make banana pancakes. I had a bag of buttermilk pancake mix from Vermont Country Store which has been calling my name.
I sliced up a banana and added it to the pancakes. Hubs was also up so he joined me and the dogs out of the deck for breakfast. It is a perfect morning, no humidity. We have pool exercise at 10:15 so I will be leaving shortly but this is a day that got off to a wonderful start.

Love banana pancakes. I made a batch a couple of months ago for Little Miss and I. She didn't like them. I did have plain pancakes too and she gobbled them down.
I would love to have a deck to enjoy a wonderful morning or evening!

@BelleStarr I would love it so much. Hubby said he was going to build a new porch someday. But, with the cost of materials it may be a while.

We ate all three meals out there today, it was just the perfect weather or it and the dogs can join us.

I got the best waffles one time when about eight or nine and eating in a hotel restaurant with a family friend.. I had never had specialized pancakes or waffles. These had pineapple and walnuts in them So tasty. Sounds like a wonderful day.

Today it is rainy and cold, I mean long sleeve weather. My granddaughter is getting married tomorrow so I hope the weather is better b then.

That sounds nice. It has cooled off here some..it wasn't that awful today..but not sure if I would want to sit on the deck at this point..it is probably still about 86.

This was long enough before our exercise to not be an issue. I used the leftover batter and made chocolate chips on Thursday.

We didn't get to go to the pool today, Al doctor's appointment got changed to 10:15 which is the time we usually have class. However, our pool is warm and we were out there last evening exercising.

Yes we have had several days of beautiful weather with some late day storms. Today it is ugly all day.

We are having our vacations at Atuba with the same glorious temperature. We have this temperature in Santiago, where I live, but from September until early December and then during fall. Claudia made pancakes too. Yum!

Sounds like a great way to start your morning... can't find one thing that I would change... eat as many pancakes as you want and then burn off the calories in the pool!!
