My Laptop Died

Well it finally happened. The dreaded blue screen appeared and told me that I must use a recovery disk in order to use the computer again or reload windows from the original disk. The good news is I have those disks (disks or discs?) but the bad news is they are in Florida . So I will be computer shopping as this laptop is six years old at least perhaps seven. I will keep it and try to recover my work later next winter in Florida, but in the meantime I had planned to buy an Apple computer of some sort probably a MacBook Air .
I just bought a new stove so in order to stay within my budget and not go to my savings I will have to wait until next month.
So I am limping along using my phone, which I hate to do because I do not like mobile apps In most cases.
I cannot stand to type with thumbs so I'm speaking my text and that is almost as difficult because it changes what I say into the most alarming things ! So bear with me if there is a bizarre phrase or word out of place that I didn't notice !

I like a desktop too, but a laptop is more convenient for me as I can take it with me easily. I did buy a MacBook Pro yesterday so I'm back in the loop again.

Yeah I go through the same thing when I use my phone to be here. Mostly because of autocorrect. Lol.

Yes, so I only did two posts. I'm back now as I picked up the MacBook Pro yesterday.

Mobile phones are notorious for changing words, which drives us completely insane.
As for the data on the laptop, I would suggest extracting that before trying to recover the computer, which would probably overwrite the information.

@Jeanniemaries Apple is one operating system that I have never used and therefore know nothing about.

Oh, that blue screen we never want to see @Jeanniemaries
Sorry this happened to you.
Back to Florida? We plan to be there next month. Ugh.

Not in Florida now, not till January. August is a killer month to be visiting Florida. Yes, the dreaded blue screen! Being without a computer for two weeks was hard, but I got a MacBook Pro instead because I liked the screen resolution (I've already forgotten what they call it)

I think we should all get a good ten years from any computer. Mine was at least 6 and possibly 7 years old. Full of viruses and always giving me trouble. I bought a MacBook Pro yesterday and hopefully that should end that.

I'm guessing that is for my plans not for the demise of my laptop. I did pick up a MacBook Pro at the Apple Store yesterday, so I'm back in business!

It didn't come quickly! But I did go yesterday to the Apple Store and picked up a MacBook Pro. Speaking my text was too cumbersome.

Yes. I like things the way they are. I picked up a MacBook Pro yesterday, so I'm back with a keyboard again. Oh yes, I'm happy about that.

Yep, typing on a keyboard is lot easier than typing on a phone. And all that's left, is some dumb typo.

Yes, but the computers fix the typo! I'm happy to be on a laptop again. I bought mine yesterday.
