One habit

This discussion is different from my other discussions, I really hate one bad habit of my wife which is keeping lights switched on. And I have asked, requested, pleaded before her to stop torching me this way but it looks she give it a damn to what I feel. I like natural light at day time, and usually sits with window of my room open. but as she comes, even for just two seconds........first thing she does is switching on the lights.......... thats ok for me if she is there she can do it. but while leaving the room she is supposed to turn off the artificial light.. as I do not like it. but she always keep them on and leave it. it happens again and again.. and feel really bad about it. Though this kind of asking is slightly negative............but does your partner has any such habit which you would like to change As soon as possible.

@spaceseed I've learned to relish my solitude! It's worth more to me than whatever the price is to have it.

As years go on you get used to the little things and if you can change it just be gentle or way too smart. I stopped making my mom leave the tooth paste cap open after explaining what roaches can do.

After almost 50 years, I have noticed many annoying habits of my husband but since as they say, you can't teach an old dog new tricks, I just accept them and learn to live with them lol

I'm afraid I have that habit too. I don't have a partner. It's only me living here. I hope she understands soon about the lights.

My husband has the same problem and leaves lights on, especially in the basement. I find those on weeks later. He also leaves his walkin closet lights and bathroom lights on. I'm constantly turning them off!

I understand how annoying that can be - almost like she wants to make you upset. . During that period when I was married, my husband had the annoying habit of leaving the toilet seat up.

Na I dont think she does it deliberately, but she has habit. and this habit is so much deep rooted, she can not get rid of it easily. My concern is that she must try to get over it. and try to correct it.
