Traces of poo bacteria in drinks

This was big news over here last month. Starbucks and Costa were another two big culprits. Did it stop me drinking their drinks? Nope. The thing is, every single time you leave your nice clean house you're entering a world full of nasty faecal bacteria. Imagine all the people {thousands?} who have held that dollar before you held it. Did they all wash their hands after they went to the loo? Door handles, stop buttons on buses, buttons at pedestrian crosses, loose fruit and veg {and bread, etc.} in the shop, library books, that pen in the bank, shopping trolley handles, etc. The world is yucky. People do things, we all do things, and then we don't wash our hands. We touch our faces subconsciously, but we don't wash our hands. We pick coins up off the floor and we don't wash our hands. Some people even PEE! in the swimming pool and we gulp it down without thinking! As long as I can't see a big fat poo in my drink, I'm happy to live with the fact that their is faecal matter floating around. It's everywhere. We're probably just as much at risk of breathing it in as we are drinking it in our shop bought drinks! Just try not to think about it, or you'll start to go crazy!! :)

Last month the big Coffee houses and now those fast food chains. I know that it's better to eat at home.

I think that fast food restaurants don´t have enough health measures and they are not checked enough. Gross!

That's the reason why I don't like to visit any restaurants or any other places like this. But people think otherwise .. in one of our state 43 mc Donald's outlets are closed last month.. here

That's disgusting. Most probably it's either the ice or the container who is contaminated.

OMG that's disgusting and awful. It is preferable to have homemade foods nowadays.

Ugh. Not too long ago a similar story came out about Starbucks. Not that we get iced drinks from any of these places - but it makes me wonder about restaurants in general.

Wondering if this is not fake news? But, seeing the source, it is scary. I see the ice is the problem. I rarely ever eat fast food though.

OMG! That is just not good news! Now people should guess why they are always sick. who knows what long term exposure will cause.

That is just gross makes me want to stay away from fast food places.

Gosh, that sounds awful. We never get drinks from these places and just occasionally we get a meal from KFC or Hungry Jacks.

That's terrible, I don't understand how that could happen. Do you think someone did it on purpose? I'm glad we don't eat at those places.
