Does an apology have an expiration date?

When someone makes a mistake with you and that person only looks for you months, or even years later, to apologize to you... Is that attitude still valid for you or after some time is it no use insisting? Is it a tricky question / situation, isn't it?

Well....it depends on what the person did. Somethings can never be forgiven.

Depends what kind of "mistake" they made. But most apologies should be done immediately in ny opinion.

I think it still means something to me and it will not be so late. Yes, I think I shall be generous to accept the late apology.

There should be no date whatsoever on an apology. It is a good question that is very hard for people to answer. Do you accept someone's apology even if it is several years later that they come to you and ask for forgiveness?

I think there is no timetable to apologize. It needs to heal for sometime before apologizing to somebody.
