Hey guys do you prefer to write your daily tasks or thoughts in a diary or prefer digital diary. What I mean by digital is evernote or one note. I think digital diary is better. As it will be always stored in a secure place. So you can be assured. I generally prefer it over notebooks.

I was doing so but I was afraid the app was invading privacy.

You may be sure that app invades privacy. If it is personal, I do not use a computer that can go online.

I have had several bad experiences with technology. So now my writings are on notebooks or I print whatever I write immediately.

@marguicha Only what is written (or printed) will last. All the digital things do not last forever.

A paper diary is surely safer because people will be able to read those notes even 50 years from now. If I had written my diary on the old computer diskettes, now nobody would be able to read them.

@Marty1 We have books that come from very ancient times and we can still read them. No matter which magnetic support will not last more than 30 years, many a lot less. I prefer to write with a pen on a paper diary, so I am sure it will resist the times.

@Marty1 I make a daily diary where I write about the weather, the temperature, I write down when I plant something in the garden, so I know how long it takes to give fruits. I have another diary where I wrote about our travels, the places we visited, the restaurants where we had lunches and dinners, comments about food. I like to read my diaries, some of them are almost 40 years old. It's interesting to see what you did when you were younger.

@Marty1 Write a diary and write your cooking progresses, you will see how interesting it is to read those lines in a few years from now.

I have tried both forms digital and paper. I like paper because I can do it immediately if need be. I just don't like how I ma not consistent with it. I always start diaries/journals but never stick to it.

Yes, I do. And I record the daily events. It's a kind of relaxing thing to do. You put all of your worries inside a dairy. I have been keeping a digital diary for a year now. And I must say, it's a fulfilling experience. I think everyone should keep a journal, just to remember few of their golden times or nice moments.

It is a very good habit to write a diary. Now a day one has the facility to record and store the events digitally. I don't record my events in digital form.

I don't have the habit of maintaining digital diary or normal diary. Digital diary may not be reliable always.

I don't have a diary because I'm lazy, but I think now is a good time to start because my memory is not that good anymore.

It is not a smart move. You should move to android I think. It is preferable.
