You are not going to make a fortune here. Depends on what you are happy with and how much effort you want to put into it.

You can earn but definitely not something you'll be rich from. Like for the months so far I am at $9. This is more like a "for fun" interacting with others site.

It all depends how you define 'worth it'. The more that you interact with others by responding to their discussions and commenting on the responses that you get to yours, the more likely it is that people will want to interact with you and that is what earnings are calculated on - you are not paid merely to post here! At first, you should consider that you are doing OK if you reach the $5 minimum in a month.
It's very important to familiarise yourself with the Community Guidelines. The Frequently Asked Questions page will also tell you a lot about how things work here and the Earnings Program FAQs explain how earnings work and how and when you will be paid, when you become eligible for payment.

i focus more on learning and sharing. we all have something to learn from and share with each other, especially in a global site like mylot.
mylot is also an easy site in the sense that you're not required to log in every day, there is no minimum or maximum you have to meet daily or monthly.

Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site!
Yet, it's possible that you've come to the wrong site if earning is your main aim.
You don't earn money by firing off one discussion after the other. You earn if you read, like and comment on other members' discussions and *they* come to your site and do the same for you. This process is called interaction.
The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction.
Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.

My purpose here is not to earn money. But it is easy to make the minimum payment of $5 in a month just by enjoying myself here.
I don't know of any online way to make money. Some people have employers that let them work at home instead of coming in to work all the time.

You get rewarded here for being active; that is by commenting on other people's discussions and them commenting on your discussions you are able to earn something. Because earnings are based on activity and not views, there is no set earnings amount. It varies and from what I understand it depends on how much activity your discussions get, how much you are active on others' discussions, as well as on the quality of your comments.
You get paid here once you reach $5 in earnings. You won't make a lot on here, so if your goal is to make real money, as opposed to some spare change, then you should look into other websites that pay. If you love to write check out HubPages. They have different ways of making money there. Also check out Swagbucks. Here you don't need to write. You earn points called SB for taking surveys, watching videos, answering polls and questions, playing games, checking out content, shopping and web searching... Then you can redeem those SB for either a gift card or PayPal cash.

You will earn, if you have the patiences. I like the site because people here are friendly and interactive. Other site don't give a damn about whats on your mind.
