When your in the passenger seat in a car what do you typically do ??
I personally have bad experience when it comes to Someone driving a car that's not me so I am always on the lookout as if I was the driver . A lot of time people driving with me are texting and driving or just not paying attention

Actually my point ... but a lot of people believe they can multitask in a situation like that so they see no harm in texting and driving in the other hand I see a big harm I would not like to die in the hands of someone eles especially if it could of been prevented

Luckily, my officemate who drives the car would ask permission to pull over whenever he needs to text someone. Yes, we know that it is important to give full focus ro driving.

That is very scary if they are texting while driving. They have to pay attention to what they are doing. There are other people in the car. It is very rare that I ride in a car these days. I ride on my scooter and I observe people around me and see what bikers do. They go through red lights, they talk on their phone while riding their bike and they come around the corner so fast and come very close to me that they do not honk a horn to let me know they are there. I feel when I am on my scooter I have to pay attention to all that is around me.

I don't drive here in Israel because I do not know the streets for driving a car and they are crazy drivers. I enjoy my scooter. I can always find a parking spot for it and drive right up to my building. In winter time it is hard with the rain and not being warm inside but winter does not last forever.

I don't drive even though I have a driver license. My hubby drives and he is very careful when he drives. He never use his smartphone when he drives because there are police traffic on the lookout. If caught using smartphone whether texting or on the phone the driver will be penalized with summon tickets.

i'm attentive if we're going somewhere new, or if i'm not familiar with the driver.

Texting and driving is illegal here. I too would be anxious if they did that. I prefer it when someone else is driving

My wife always does the driving - even if I'm the one holding the steering wheel!
