We all have many interests and like learning about what others are interested in as well but, as far as Mylot is concerned ,there are topics or subjects we just won't bother clicking on, even if the discussion is from people we follow. so, what discussion topics do you tend to stay clear of here no matter who the author is?

I pretty much do the same but, there are topics that i automatically skip. like what someone had for breakfast, lunch or dinner and definitely the one liners i avoid like the plague

I don't deliberately ignore anyone or any topic. Some I will read but not comment. However, most of us are limited in time and there are way too many discussions to be able to read them all.

I don't think any of us deliberately ignore others discussions. It's really about our basic interests and what gives us an opportunity to interact with the author.

If someone entitles their post 'Good morning' (or evening, afternoon), I won't touch them. If they can't be bothered to think of a proper title, I sure as heck can't be bothered to read them.

I'm partial to politics and religion. They are interesting subjects. But even ordinary activities can be interesting depending on how it was written.

When it come to politics and religion i'm just the opposite of what you favor. There always seems to be negative comments and arguments when it comes to these topics, since many people have very strong opinions about them

Many have stated my views already and I have "liked" those comments. I try to stay away from negative posts or mundane daily personal stories (not that there is anything wrong with posting that). Just not for me. I find no use for political commentary on a "social" media site. I also rarely answer religious opinions posts. As they say politics and religion don't mix. I am here to learn, have fun, make friends, not argue back and forth with people.

I very rarely,if ever comment on political or religious discussions for the same reasons you mentioned i'm not here to debate my opinion or get into a heated discussion since these types of discussions seem to bring out a lot of negativity. IMO Mylot is a place to interact with people and enjoy learning about them and their interests so basically i know exactly where you're coming from
