First time here

United States

Well hello everyone! This is my first time with mylot so take it easy on me haha. I guess the first thing I can say is I am a mother of two, my daughter will be 7 this year and my son is 4 and 1/2 months old. I am a wife to a wonderful husband been together for 10 years. A little bit about myself, I am 28 years old I'm a stay-at-home mom and I love my job. I live in the city but I hate it, I have lived in the country and I want to go back. My husband and I are hoping to move to the country by next year. Don't know too much of what to say, I don't have a lot of friends because I don't have time to wade through everyone who wants to be fake, I have a busy life with my family. Today I'm taking the little man to a doctor's appointment because of a little hard bump on the side of his gum, and no it's not a tooth, and it doesn't seem to bother him but I would rather get it checked out just to be on the safe side and I think every mother would agree with me on that. It looks like a little bone spur but I'm not sure so we are going to see. And his doctor gave me the go-ahead to start giving him solid foods and we started him on rice cereal, and at first it was going great he was doing really good with it but about 24 hours after I gave him a little bit he ended up throwing it all up and it didn't bother him doing that and he didn't cry or get upset about it he actually seemed relieved so I'm going to be asking about that today, maybe his system isn't quite ready for it not sure. If any of you mommies out there are wondering about it or maybe have had the same experience feel free to let me know and after we get back from his appointment today I'll definitely let everyone know what it was so that way if any of you mommies do come across something like that you'll have an idea. I guess I'll stop here for now I don't want to make it too long like a book but I do like to help people, offer up suggestions, give experiences, so I guess I could do some of that here and there give my personal experiences ask about others, etc. I know this first one's kind of boring so bear with me a little bit I'll try and do better lol but thank you and hope you all have a good day. :)

Well, hello and welcome to MyLot. Nice to see new faces here. You are going to love being here. I remember the days when my kids were small and needed constant attention. It does tire you out. I also remember sleeping maybe 2 to 3 hours a night when my son was born. Not a good experience. But I made it through. Now they are young teenagers. And not looking to spend much time with dear old dad anymore. But that is life. I love them no matter what.

@Mamakdbug That is for sure. They are rough, but in the long run they are actually better to deal with than girls. I am preparing myself for my daughter when she turns 16 and above. What a challenge that will be.

Yeah I know how that's going right now actually, I'm getting about 2 to 3 hours of sleep a night from my son ha. Totally different from my daughter she was such a good sleeper. But everyone tells me that boys are definitely completely different. :)

Hi Kaylee. Welcome. Just one suggestion. You could break up your post into paragraphs as it is much easier to read that way.
